Turning a Bag Into a Brand

The Challenge

When a commodity bag supplier acquired a sustainable cooking bag, they reached out for support. They wanted help with product positioning, strategy, target audience and distribution, but most important – results.

The Solution

The bags enabled consumers to create "meals in minutes" in the oven or microwave. We named it Ready. Chef. Go! To get grocers’ buy in, we created a high-margin program for their burgeoning Grab & Go, and fish, poultry and produce sections. Consumers loved the bags and grocers experienced perimeter sales growth of up to 40%.
