A wake up call in 2021.

Welcome to 2021 – a year that promises to be a far cry from 2020. On the upside, The Miller Group celebrated its 30th anniversary and an all-new website. And we worked with a number of amazing clients on meaningful initiatives.

COVID has been a wake up call. It’s made us think about how we – as  marketers – can get more deeply involved with intiatives like clean water for all, better air quality, healthy food and shelter for those who seek it in the US, and a more diverse and inclusive workforce.

In the past, we worked tirelessly on sustainability measures like raising $6MM for the Robert Redford Green Building. It’s now the West Coast headquarters for the NRDC’s and one of the greenest buildings in the US. Our creative efforts ensured the preservation of millions of acres of wetlands in Southern California and stopped the erosion of estuaries. Our work with Father Greg Boyle of Homeboy Industries resulted in a reduction of at-risk youth and gang members on the streets of LA.

But that’s a drop in the bucket. And we need to do more. We can’t change the world unless each of us takes a few small steps every day towards a healthier, more productive planet. Imagine the difference we’ll make in just a few short years if we all work together.
